R134A Refrigerant

R-134a is a versatile and widely used refrigerant – ideal for residential, commercial, automotive and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning. It is ozone-friendly, non-flammable and thermodynamically efficient, but has a high global warming potential (GWP = 1,430) and is under increasing pressure from regulatory measures promoting a transition to greener alternatives.

• This gas is to be phased out. And this process has already begun. The replacement gas is R456a and this is compatible with R134a.
