Tesla diagnosis made easy – MAHLE TechPRO® adapters

After VW, Tesla has the most electric cars in Germany. For a long time, diagnosing Tesla models was considered complicated and reserved for experienced experts. This is now history: Tesla adapter cables from MAHLE pave the way for the first and second generations of TechPRO® diagnostic tools.

Comprehensive coverage from the start

Coverage is already extensive at launch, with support for the Tesla Model 3, S, X and Y. More models will follow. There are three adapter variants to choose from:

• OBD adapter cable set (consists of two adapters) for Tesla Model S and X
• OBD adapter cable for Model 3 and Y
• OBD Adapter Cable Kit (consists of three adapters) for Model S, X, 3, and Y – for full coverage

Features and capabilities

Depending on the adapter cable, features include:

• Reading and erasing fault codes
• Reading parameters and statuses
• Basic settings for many systems

Additionally, workshops can access tutorials (videos and images) from the TechPRO® tool, which guides them step-by-step through the correct diagnostic process. By being included in the diagnostic database, workshops can also use the E-Health Charge solution to provide reliable information about the health and performance of the high-voltage battery in Tesla vehicles.
