E-HEALTH Charge: Complete battery diagnostics during charging

Battery diagnostics during charging are supplemented by data from the OBD port. The E-CHARGE 20 battery charger can be used flexibly in the workshop, also as a stand-alone DC charger.

With the app (available for Android and Windows), the health analysis can be performed anywhere there is a suitable power source. The vehicle does not need to be moved during the process.

Data analysis in collaboration with battery experts

To evaluate the data collected from the charger and the OBD interface, MAHLE Aftermarket collaborates with battery specialist volytica diagnostics.

They review the data in a secure cloud, compare it to previously recorded batteries of the same type, and compare it to the vehicle model's original capacity. The final report is available by email shortly after.

What do you need?

To use the battery diagnostics solution in your business you need:

• E-CHARGE and E-HEALTH App
• MAHLE VCI for connection to the OBD port
• A personal device
• License for TechPRO Smart/Connex Smart
• E-Health App must be installed on the device

Financing models

There are two financing models for hardware and software: outright purchase or leasing. Battery reports are paid for separately, per test, using the MAHLE Coins Card, which can be purchased from wholesalers. The cards come in various sizes and are redeemable as gift cards.

MAHLE already supplies in Italy, Portugal, Serbia and Poland. Germany and the Netherlands will follow as the next markets.
